Inspired equally by humanitarian ideals and insights from systems-thinking, I have oriented my career towards understanding the complex issue of climate change and seizing opportunities to develop creative solutions. I value relationship-building as key to the success of projects. Having 10+ years of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating policies and programs, I know what it takes to take an idea and deliver results. My recent focus has been on the energy and electricity sector. In Nova Scotia, my work has contributed to the deployment of millions of programming and infrastructure dollars towards community-owned solar and efficiency projects as well as new legislation aimed to offer large electricity consumers 100% green energy. I am an effective, inter-disciplinary communicator. As a representative of the Government of Nova Scotia, I have had the opportunity to speak at national conferences, lecture at post-secondary institutions, and participate in regional economic development planning. I have been recognized as a successful project manager and collaborative team-player.
