I joined the construction industry as a young environmental enthusiast seeking to leave a positive impact in an industry that shapes the way we live. Over 10 years of experience facilitating green building certification programs via the LEED, GBI, BREEAM and WELL certification tools has thought me that a building is not merely how it is constructed, but how it operates, how it influences human behavior and how it interacts with it\'s surrounding environment. I aim to go above and beyond my role as a green building consultant to ensure the projects I work on achieve sustainable goals that are holistic and impactful - and to achieve the end-goal of the young environmental enthusiast in me which is to reduce the human footprint of negative impacts that we leave behind.
