About Shea Lovato

I’m a Colorado native who spent much of my twenties living abroad in India, Thailand, and South Korea, and traveling to enough countries to fill (and retire) my first passport. In May, I earned dual master’s degrees, an MBA and a Master’s in Business Analytics, and am now eager to combine my newly honed analytical skills with my deep expertise in education to bring strategic, data-driven insight to a new industry.I have 7 years of experience in implementing new strategies for educational programming and initiatives as well as extensive experience in project management, time-sensitive prioritization, and data analysis. In my previous role I managed a strategic campaign to raise over 4 times the anticipated goal for physical education equipment, and implemented a new student-led debate team. Prior to that role, while teaching in Korea I led a team of 6 foreign teachers. I led the team through the pandemic and our switch to online instruction at one of the leading education academies in Gangnam. In that role I was one of a select few teachers to retain over 90% of my students on a month-to-month basis, despite being the only non-fluent teacher in my same role.My professional toolkit includes interpersonal communication skills with foreign stakeholders and subordinate colleagues in cross-cultural team management, strategic problem-solving, and analytical data management.As you can probably guess from my past work experience, I love to travel, try new things, and meet new people! Other than that, in my free time I like to hike, read, cook, and enjoy as much time outside as possible.
