With a wealth of experience across the Financial Services and Human Capital sectors, Lashea C. Reaves serves as Performance & Enablement Director, reporting to the Chief of Staff at Truist, where she drives enterprise performance, enablement strategy, and operational excellence. In this role, she partners with leaders across the organization to strengthen governance, risk awareness, and execution discipline, ensuring teams are equipped to deliver results aligned with Truist’s purpose, values, and regulatory expectations. Her work reflects a career rooted in building scalable systems, cultivating inclusive leadership, and advancing sustainable business outcomes within highly regulated environments.In addition to her corporate leadership, Lashea is the founder and Executive Director of 8 Cents in a Jar, a nonprofit organization she established in 2016 to advance economic mobility and prevent poverty among youth from ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) communities. Through financial education, asset‑building strategies, and access‑driven programming, the organization has impacted more than students ages 8 to 28, equipping them with the tools and confidence needed to build long‑term wealth and financial stability.Lashea holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from Florida A&M University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University. Her leadership and community impact have been widely recognized, including the CNBC Financial Literacy Leader Award with distinction from the U.S. Secretary of Education, FAMU’s 40 Under 40, the Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, and honors as one of Orlando Magazine’s Women of the Year (2018), Super Women of the Year (2024), and Top 50 Women Leaders in Orlando (2024–2026). She resides in Orlando, Florida.
