ABOUT SHEA WINPIGLER

I love helping people I never imagined I’d land in a role that brings together so many parts of who I am and who I want to be, and I’m deeply grateful for that.As a proud staffer of the Baltimore City Council, working under Councilperson Antonio “Tony” Glover in the 13th District, I show up every day to serve our residents through constituent and legislative services. One day that might mean connecting neighbors to resources, responding to illegal dumping or utility emergencies, attending community association meetings, or organizing a community clean up or listening session. Another day, it’s helping draft legislation that shapes our built environments. In my role, I\'m learning how to be an effective organizer, leader, researcher and community liaison + utilizing my background in journalism, videography, photography, public speaking, education, and negotiation to work on issues I deeply care about like increasing access to nutritious food, homeownership, green spaces and recreation centers, avenues for expression, workforce and educational opportunities, and mulit-modal transit, to name a few! We all deserve to live comfortably, with dignity and respect. Baltimore has made me who I am, and I’m deeply invested in its future. Beyond City Hall, you might recognize my voice from CBS’ The Neighborhood, Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q, Love Island USA, or Ireland’s kids’ quiz show Thing Quizzy. Or you might spot me around town singing at a venue, stage-managing at a theater, or out in the garden. With a non-linear background and a lifelong love of learning, I’m always looking for ways to grow, collaborate, and help others do the same.Let’s connect
