About Shea Padilla

As a Work Based Learning Coordinator, I serve as a liaison between the Arizona Technology Council and the ALRISE Alliance, a network of post-secondary Hispanic-serving institutions and industry partners. My mission is to bridge the gap between education and industry in STEM fields, especially in cybersecurity and information technology. I have over 20 years of experience in management, administration, audit, compliance, and education, with a focus on cybersecurity and business analytics. I completed the ASU Cybersecurity Bootcamp and the Business Analytics Certificate, and I have multiple credentials from IBM and Canvas. I am skilled in coordinating and executing projects, analyzing and interpreting data, developing and implementing policies, and facilitating and engaging stakeholders. I am passionate about learning, innovation, and collaboration, and I seek to empower others with the knowledge and skills needed for the digital world.

   Work Based Learning Coordinator via contract with AZ Tech Council and The ASU Center for Broadening Participation in STEM-Serve as liaison for the AZ Tech Council and the ALRISE Alliance for the WBE (Work Based Experiences) Subgroup-Work with Regional Hub Coordinators and TECNAs to bridge the gap between post-secondary HSIs/faculty/staff and B&I-Co-facilitated the ALRISE 2023 Virtual Summer Cybersecurity and Information Technology Externship from June 5 to June 16, 2023-Assisted and guided the Externship model via the GPCF including developing spreadsheets/documents/slide decks/reports, attaining sponsors for 28 externs, and communicating with all the paid and in-kind sponsors-Played a key role in the planning committee with the AZ Tech Council, ASU-ALRISE, Arizona ALIRSE post-secondary institutions, UT-DALLAS, and the Dallas, TX Tech Titans.
