I spent my first 6 months of my training contract in our Court of Protection Department. This was a very rewarding role, engaging with vulnerable people to ensure their finances are protected. I am now working in our Actions Against the Police and Inquests team. I enjoy seeking justice for my clients, and their loved ones. I find it especially rewarding helping families at inquests, to find some closure and work through their grief.

ABOUT SHEA CARSON
I am a University of Liverpool graduate with a 2:1 in Law with Sociology (LLB). I chose to do this degree as it ties together my interest in social justice and equality with my confident and dedicated personality. I am also currently studying by LLM LPC.After growing up in Cardiff, I felt the need for a change of scenery and so moved to Liverpool, for new opportunities and experiences. During my time at the University of Liverpool, I have joined a variety of societies and taken part in many extra curricular activities including mooting, which I enjoyed greatly and qualified for the semi-finals of the University of Liverpool internal mooting competition in my first year of university. I am completing a training contract to further my legal career and take a step closer to becoming a solicitor. My interests lie particularly in human rights law and working with vulnerable clients.
