About Shea Berthelot
Shea is a current Graduate student in The George Washington University\'s College of Professional Studies and the Graduate School of Political Management, earning her master\'s degree in Legislative Affairs. She graduated in May of 2024 from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies with Honors, Magna Cum Laude, and minors in International Studies and Military Studies on the Pre-Law track. She is passionate about advocacy and politics, specifically voting rights (the topic of her honors thesis), veterans affairs, campaigns, elections, and civil rights. She is currently working in government affairs in Washington, D.C, and is interested in Congress and issue advocacy. She has experience with administrative work, research (academic and legislative), writing, research, communication, customer service, and advocacy. Shea is an alumnus of two Baylor in Washington, D.C. programs, The Baylor in Washington Program (Spring 2024) and the Inaugural Baylor Summer Fellowship for Religion and Social Life (Summer 2023).
