Leading the team through management and mentorship Developing the team to ensure quality end products Primary hiring manager for development team Communicate deadlines to Development team leads for ongoing & new projects Work closely with other department managers to prioritise workload for development team and feed prioritised list of work to development team leads Work alongside the Senior Management & Development team leads to ensure timely delivery of Bug Fixes/New Features Highlight issues from the development team to management team that will cause delays in hitting deadlines Oversight of SDLC to ensure no pitfalls in process to ensure optimised development workflow Maintain and optimize budgets to meet goals Understand and collaborate on complete product lifecycle from concept to execution Oversee and improve QA and Production build processes Ensure builds are scheduled, released and signed off efficiently Improve development QA processes to ensure work is completed to the highest standards Manage web development team output and introduce KPIs across the team Provide clear communication and RFO to the wider management team when issues/outages occur
