Leads and oversees the planning, execution, delivery, and continuous improvement of hardware- and software-based DSP (Digital Signal Processing)/embedded systems projects. Strong emphasis is placed on meeting timelines, staying within budget, ensuring technical quality, and translating internal and external mission requirements into actionable deliverables.• Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, milestones, deliverables, resource allocations, and budget. • Establish timelines for both hardware and software components, ensuring all tasks are identified and dependencies mapped out. • Drive execution of projects in line with specified requirements (customer, product, military/defense, etc.), ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to technical and quality standards. • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering: hardware, firmware, software; field support; production) to ensure alignment and integration. • Identify, assess, and monitor project risks • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders • Translate technical concepts and project status into clear, understandable information for non-technical stakeholders.• Prepare and deliver status reports, presentations, and updates. • Ensure that deliverables meet technical specifications, performance requirements, and quality expectations. • Ensure compliance with relevant standards as applicable. • Foster continuous improvement in project delivery, team workflows, collaboration and efficiencies. • Lead teams, motivate, remove blockers, facilitate collaboration across technical functions. • Establish and manage project budgets, track financial metrics, ensure cost control. • Work with engineering and product teams to define requirements, scope, technical features, deliverables.
