Starting over 20 years ago in user support, I have always taken a pragmatic approach to improving the technology experience of the end user whilst developing and maintaining standards. Through the years I have worked and succeeded in key areas of IT and have a strong track record in successfully building and delivering IT services. There are many fundamental principles and factors within IT such as: building and operating within a secure environment, reducing dependencies and continuous improvement (in staff, service & systems). However; the value of simplicity, organisation and trust are too often overlooked, yet in my experience are the building blocks to unlocking the value of IT services across all levels of the business.
