At the heart, analytics is a tool of communication.Do you need new processes or a fresh perspective? To push your analytics to the next level? In my work, I display user friendly data visualizations that come with tutorials built in. I keep a watchful eye on the data, looking for the best opportunity to apply machine learning and AI in a way that will make sense operationally. I specialize in Healthcare Analytics, bringing my Epic credentials with me. Typically, if the data is in Epic, I can find it and bring it to the forefront. I organize my data structures in ways make sense operationally and financially.When I work on projects, I think about the 10 year impact of the product. I ensure that databases and products have a long shelf life. This perspective means that I use different tools. I trade Excel for a sustainable database, probably developed in Oracle. For visualizations, I watch the trends and work the most with products and organizations that I hope stand the test of time. My preference is Tableau or Power BI.
