Shaye Schrick is a leader in providing California employers of all sizes with quality advice and counsel, training, and workplace investigations. Having litigated multiple cases from inception through trial and appeal, Shaye understands the impact workplace disputes have on businesses and their employees. Recognizing that companies are most likely to succeed when their employees are engaged and feel part of a team, and that there are rarely true \"winners\" in litigation, Shaye uses the experiences she gained over the past two decades to structure solutions to complex problems before they result in costly litigation. She works closely with employers to craft policies and practices that evolve with the changing climate of California employment laws, assists with performance management, provides guidance in the interactive process to collaboratively respond to requests for reasonable accommodation, creates strategies for management of employee leaves of absence, and provides common sense solutions to address California\'s complex wage and hour laws. Shaye regularly conducts workplace investigations and employment practice audits, prepares employment-related agreements, and presents training to leaders, front-line supervisors, and employees on a variety of topics.Shaye has prepared and presented dozens of seminars on various employment-related topics for the Northern California Employment Round Table, Lorman Education Services, the California Employers Advisory Council, Sacramento Area Human Resources Association, and other regional organizations and employers. Shaye previously taught law courses at both the University of California at Davis King Hall School of Law and the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.Shaye is a Director and Officer (Secretary) of the Northern California Employment Round Table and has been selected to the Northern California Super Lawyers lists for employment & labor/employment litigation each year since 2012.
