About Shay Stewart-Bouley
CCI has been working for racial equality since 1968, our focus is working with white people in addressing white privilege and white supremacy in order to break down the racial barriers that still exist. During my tenure I have restructured CCI as a legacy organization that is now home to several smaller, grassroots anti-racism groups working under CCI. This change has allowed us to be more responsive to the changing racial landscape in Boston and regionally and has created multiple pathways for people to engage in anti-racist work. My continuing charge is to shore up CCI\'s long term future,create a sustainable organization which has included expanding into Northern New England while maintaining our core work in the greater Boston area. CCI is currently offering programming in both Maine and Massachusetts. Specialties: Grant-writing, strategic planning and board development for small non-profits with budgets of 500K or less. Racial inclusion initiatives, and public lectures on racism in volatile racial times.
