ABOUT SHAYAN SHOAIB

Shayan is a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Cyber practice, where he helps organisations strengthen their resilience against evolving cyber threats. He has delivered cyber security strategies, conducted threat hunting activities, performed cyber internal audits, and conducted maturity assessments.He works primarily with clients in the Healthcare and Financial Services sectors, supporting them in assessing current-state cyber maturity, defining future-state operating models, and improving their ability to detect, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents. His delivery combines strong technical knowledge with a deep understanding of regulatory and industry-specific challenges.Within Deloitte, Shayan contributes to several firmwide initiatives including the NIS Centre of Excellence, Cyber AI, and the Cyber Health programme. He is also an active member of the Deloitte Muslim Network and the Wellbeing Network, reflecting his commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and supporting others across the organisation.Shayan holds an MSc in Security and Resilience from Imperial College London and completed an Executive Programme in Cyber Security at the University of Oxford, where he focused on cyber policy, threat landscapes, and intrusion detection.As a Deloitte Certified Coach, Shayan supports colleagues through mentoring and coaching, helping build high-performing, purpose-led teams. He brings a people-first mindset to his work, grounded in the belief that cyber security should not only protect systems, but also empower people.
