Experienced Power Systems Engineer with Northeast Power Coordinating Council (NPCC). Currently focusing on power grid reliability through the successful integration of distributed energy resources (DERs)- wind, solar, battery storage, etc. Demonstrated history of working in the energy and utilities sector - previously working in the Utility Consulting group at Burns & McDonnell/1898 & Co as a Technical Advisory Consultant, Transmission Planning Engineer and Project Manager. Skilled in Power System Analysis, Smart Grids, Automation & Analytics (Python, R, SQL, Visual Basic), Power System Modeling, Transmission Planning and Operations, Data Visualization (Tableau, Microsoft Power BI), Project Management, Project Controls, Outage Coordination and People Management. Passionate hobby data scientist, interested with the applications in the energy/utilities sector.Received a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut. I went on to receive a Master of Science in Power Systems Engineering & Management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and received a certificate in Data Science from The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science at Columbia University.
