Hello! I’m Shawon Kelly (like Shawn or Sean, just spelled a little differently), currently I am the Field Survey Manager at Transglobal Services LLC. With a deep passion for capturing and processing LiDAR point cloud data, I bring 15 years of experience in land surveying. I’m a Level 1 Certified Survey Technician (CST1) through the National Society of Professional Surveyors. My expertise spans a variety of survey types, including boundary, TOPO, ALTA, route, construction staking, 3D scanning, pipelines, and oil & gas, across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and even little job in Turks & Caicos. In addition to fieldwork, I’ve collaborated with both field and office teams to introduce and maintain essential companywide equipment, policies, and procedures that remain in use at Transglobal today.With a background in Civil AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center, I’m skilled in processing survey and point cloud data to bring precision and efficiency to every project.

   As the Field Survey Manager, I lead and oversee all field survey activities, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of our survey projects. My role involves strategic planning, team management, and technical supervision to deliver exceptional survey services. Key responsibilities include, directing and managing the day-to-day operations of field survey teams, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Leading a team of Supervisors, Party Chiefs and Instrument Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborating with project managers, surveyors, and clients to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables, and ensuring alignment with client expectations. Overseeing the selection and utilization of advanced surveying equipment and technologies, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection. Implementing stringent quality assurance protocols to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in all survey activities. Ensuring all survey safety operations are compliant with company and client regulations as well as industry standards, and promoting a strong focus on safety in the field. Managing resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, fleet trucks to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency.My role as the Field Survey Manager has provided me with extensive experience in operational leadership, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality survey solutions that meet client needs and exceed industry standards.
