About Shawn Waldron

Shawn Waldron is an archivist and curator with nearly 20 years experience in museum, gallery, and corporate settings. Shawn has served as director of a large corporate archive, managed two archive relocations, spearheaded the ground-up creation of a digital lab and associated workflows, and launched an enterprise-wide corporate records program from the ground up. He has been contributed texts and research to multiple books and exhibitions as well as paid speaking engagements and media appearances in the US and abroad. While at Condé Nast, Shawn was the first curator of the Condé Nast Gallery where he worked with artists such as Elinor Carucci, Peter Schlesinger, Dan Winters, and the Estate of Horst P. Horst.Now Curator, Consumer Prints for Getty Images in New York, Shawn is responsible for the content selection of photos.com, Getty Images\' e-commerce print and wall decor business. Shawn also is the lead curator for the Getty Images Gallery, London where he is responsible for a robust exhibition program that includes ten or more photography based exhibitions annually.
