About Shawn Reilly
A graduate of Peabody College\'s Learning and Design program at Vanderbilt University, as well as the Vanderbilt Divinity School\'s Masters of Divinity program in Interreligious Encounter, I am interested in out-of-school learning spaces and their role in the development of socio-political consciousness and human rights frameworks in youth and young adults. I have a talent of moving groups from thought to implementation and enjoy thinking strategically and intentionally about resource allocation and impact. Planning and organizing are strengths of mine. Being future-oriented, I am inspired and motivated by possibility while remaining careful to reflect on past experiences and growth opportunities. I pride myself on my ability to be an inclusive force, recognizing when people are being left out, and engaging them in meaningful ways. These characteristics have proven useful while working as a the Mapping Inequities fellowship co-director, in my academic studies, and in my previous employment.
