About Shawn Penning
I recently completed the Grand Circus C#.NET Bootcamp. These days I’m spending a lot of time with SQL as part of my job with DNV.Previously, I had returned to my Software Engineering core as an embedded programmer for Nexteer, writing software for the next generation of vehicles to keep them comfortably on the road — with or without a driver.For several years, I managed the marketing efforts, including website construction and maintenance, of a global employee wellness company, crafting compelling strategies and online communications to attract clients. Before that I started my own marketing company and utilized online media to sell and distribute audio and digital products, including my new and growing line of mental conditioning products (MindMesa.com). I\'ve designed and coded many websites, worked extensively with social media, email marketing, Google Adwords, and many other forms of online marketing. I’m also a writer, author, and hypnotherapist; I produce, record, and market novels, music, audiobooks, and hypnosis mental conditioning products. Specialties: Coding in C#, C, Python, and other programming languages (Turbo Pascal, Visual Basic using.Net, Ada, FORTRAN); have experience with Davinci Developer, Simulink, Reactis for SIL Testing, IBM Synergy, SEO (search engine optimization), social media, website design and development (Joomla, Wordpress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), writing, internet marketing, sales, hypnotherapy, audio books, voice artist, recording, and producing.
