In my role as Managing Partner for Ernst & Young LLP’s Salt Lake City practice, I lead a team of high performing professionals who are responding to the growing needs of Utah’s innovative and entrepreneurial businesses. I am passionate about fostering a culture where our professionals can excel and succeed. In my 20+ years of public accounting experience, I have served many of Utah’s leading and high-growth companies in a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, aerospace, health care and real estate. I also have the privilege of meeting with and honoring some of the region’s top entrepreneurs as program director for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Utah regional program.My extensive experience includes resolving complex accounting issues such as revenue recognition, consolidation accounting, equity transactions, stock-based compensation and acquisitions. I have served on audit engagements of SEC clients and have expertise in SEC reporting matters, including quarterly and annual filings, Sarbanes-Oxley Act Section 404 internal control reporting, registration statements and M&A.EY is the professional services leader in Utah, providing services to the majority of Utah’s public companies and we are the market leader in assisting companies with initial public offerings. Over the past ten years, we have helped our clients with more IPOs than any other firm in Utah.
