About Shawn Dimpfl

Using my UX skills, a master’s degree in social psychology, years of research experience, combined with deep understanding of how to start and operate a business, I bring a unique and multifaceted approach to solving complex design problems.I believe that what sets apart a great product from a good product is the quality of their design. As a UX designer, I relentlessly seek out the perfect design for a particular product: one that elegantly combines the wants of the user with the needs of the business.For 8 years I designed and evaluated social programs that helped people with disabilities start their own businesses and vulnerable students succeed both in and out of school. After the successful completion of my last grant-funded program, I decided to expand my skills by pursuing UX design at General Assembly. Over the past 4 years I have worked as a User Experience Researcher in the Banking and Retail Pharmacy industries.
