I\'m a recruiter! I help companies find people (talent) and help people find jobs (opportunities). I have a passion for people and have been lucky enough to turn that into a career by making connections between employers and job seekers. I have been told I can find \'a needle in a haystack\' and \'purple squirrels\'. It really just boils down to this: asking the right questions, listening, sourcing, then putting all the pieces together. It\'s about networking and connecting with people. And, it\'s about changing lives!I\'m often asked if I went to school to become a recruiter. Even though I do have my bachelor\'s and master\'s degrees from The University of Texas at Tyler, the answer is no. Like most recruiters, it was really just luck (and God\'s perfect plan) that landed me in this amazing career. The certifications - CSP (Certified Staffing Professional), PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional)- came later. When not at work, you can usually find me on the golf course with my husband.I\'m not very good but I sure do love to play! I also enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
