With a Master’s in Environmental Design and a well-developed network of industry professionals, she has both the technical understanding of the design and development process and the deep-rooted connections within the market needed to develop exceptional client and candidate relationships.As a Founding Partner of DMC Recruitment Group, Shawna puts her design expertise and industry network to use on a variety of search engagements in the Architecture and Design industry throughout North America. She has successfully placed positions within both small and large architecture and engineering design firms, including Principal, Director, Senior Architect, Architect, Technologist, Designer, and Project Manager. Shawna works personally and professionally with both her clients and candidates, creating long-term relationships with key players in the architecture, design and construction industries. She is an active community member in the Architecture and Design sector and is constantly further developing her skill set and knowledge of the ever-changing market.Prior to her role at DMC, Shawna worked at two recognized recruitment firms where she was an Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Recruitment Associate, and a lead for the Property and Construction division.
