About Shawn Anderson
As an experienced CTO and 2x CISO, my job is to provide security solutions and guidance to startups, private equity, venture capital, customers, government agencies, and commercial corporations. I have led teams of cyber professionals diverse in both skill set and geographic location. For the past 12 years I have worked as a CTO and executive advisor to over 200+ Fortune CISO\'s a year helping them with cloud architecture design, solving identity challenges, information protection strategy, and sharing overall success factors to work across the large enterprises they support. With knowledge and experience in artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, investment banking, M&A, risk management, incident response, solving difficult technical problems by providing security engineering solutions, data analytics, data protection, network defense, white papers, workshops, and training across many technical disciplines. I have performed both as the program manager and senior technical lead for multiple cyber related projects and managed security across multi billion dollar companies. I am a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified by Miller Heiman in strategic and conceptual selling, and recognized by the Federal CIO council as qualified to be a Federal CIO. My background and knowledge base also includes policy development, training, management, leadership coaching, COBIT, CMMC, NIST, ITIL, CMMi, CIS20, and Six Sigma.
