My career has been one for the books and I’m only getting started. After 13 years in finance, I took a chance to try something new. Starting as a Branch Manager at a truck driving school in 2019, I was nervous because I didn’t know what this new path was going to mean for me.When I left the financial industry, I wasn’t sure of myself, always second guessed my skills because I had always been told I didn’t have experience in certain things. Then 160 came in and said, “try it, bring ideas.” So I did. Now I have been able to expand my skills in people management, project management, real estate, sales, operations, compliance, and so much more. I found a place that believed in me, believed that I could do more and grow with the company. The best part of what I do now is that I get to encourage people to take on new challenges and change people’s lives! Not only for the staff that works with me day in and day out but also our students. We face challenges everyday and my goal is to help find our students a new path into being able to support their families, grow with a career that will take them through their entire life, and hit the road safely!
