I am the lead on communications for African swine fever, an important file for the Agency that has been met with strong government action to protect millions of pigs and the $24 billion Canadian pork industry- Member of the national emergency response team as part of Canada\'s prevention measures- Won Government of Canada 2020 Communications Awards of Excellence: Rising Star Award- Execute public education campaigns (paid and earned): social media, digital ads, print, influencer marketing, grassroots outreach, stakeholder and partner engagement- Managed advertising campaigns to grow awareness of ASF among small-scale producers, small ethnic food retailers and international travellers to mitigate the risk of ASF in Canada- Developed strategic forward looking plans to provide innovate and impactful communications to support the Agency\'s priorities- Communicated with the Ministers office on announcements, events and issues- Develop communications products for stakeholders and general public: videos, brochures, infographics, social media content- Write press releases and media lines; respond to media queries and support in media interviews with spokesperson speaking points and preparation- Craft ASF web presence - architecture, wireframes, web content- Represent and report on behalf of CFIA Communication and Public Affairs branch at client and stakeholder meetings- Chair interdepartmental and stakeholder working group- Member of stakeholder steering committee - Produce stakeholder and public webinars- Prepare and present communications plans and strategy, as well as provide analysis to senior management- Prepare ministerial briefings- Public consultations
