As a Learning & Performance Specialist, I have the privilege of welcoming new employees to Black Hills Federal Credit Union. I support our new hires with their onboarding journey into BHFCU and the financial sector. This can include regulatory information, culture presentations, and exploring the Credit Union movement as a whole. Beyond onboarding, I facilitate a wide-range of classes for employees. I take the Credit Union philosophy of “People Helping People” to heart and ensure that each course I facilitate is inundated with engagement, fun, and an opportunity for open dialogue.In addition to facilitating content, I develop in-person and virtual training curriculums. The new training curriculums allow other facilitators to be successful presenting on a wide range of topics including financial wellness, lending, and our sales model, among others. Utilizing adult learning principles and content knowledge, I also create asynchronous online courses for employees to take to broaden their knowledge and stay up-to-date on current regulatory changes.

As an accomplished Learning & Performance Specialist, I have experience in leading and designing professional development. Throughout my career I have facilitated courses for people of all ages - ranging from Kindergarten to adults. This encompasses a range of topics including regulations, culture, financial wellness, lending, and the Science of Reading. I am a lifelong learner who loves to work with and connect with others!
