ABOUT SHAWN WOODS
One of my favorite memories was rebuilding a security program with a small team at a small governmental organization. My approach? Talk with everyone. Seriously. Take the time for green tea and really talk with people. This allowed us to understand how we could best align the security program with the business\' needs. The result: people said we were \"refreshing\". I hold the CPP and PSP from ASIS International. And, I\'ve completed a Honours Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management. I am now pursuing a Masters of Science in Security and Risk Management. I\'m a former Naval Warfare Officer with the Royal Canadian Navy. I later went on to manage security in the agriculture sector and then later design the security of Canadian Embassies around the globe. Today, as Co‑Founder and Partner at Parascape Consulting Ltd, I write and advise small and medium enterprises on building resilient, people‑focused organizations ready to tackle the world’s toughest challenges.
