Shawn Woodford has been a leader in the Canadian media industry for 30+ years serving in executive leadership roles for much of his career. His expertise in end-to-end publishing in both print and digital is backed by his extensive industry experience. Starting his career as a journalist, Shawn’s business sense and ability to find solutions, propelled him through the ranks to become Group Publisher of nine weekly newspapers and General Manager of a sheet fed and cold set web printing facility before he turned 30. Working with Transcontinental Media in NL, Shawn’s responsibility grew to 15 newspapers, including printing and prepress, production and post-press facilities. After three years as Director, Marketing & Product Development for Atlantic Canada’s largest daily newspaper, The Chronicle Herald, Shawn was lured to Toronto with Yellow Pages to aid in transforming the company. Today Shawn leads publishing operations for Yellow Pages across Canada and is a key advisor to C-suite executives.
