About Shawn Williams

I am an alumni at Judson University with my M.B.A. focused in business. I love finance/numbers as it runs in our whole family. Purchasing commodities and communicating with vendors happens to be something I really enjoy and excel at. I especially enjoy networking and working behind the scenes to arrive at a common goal with my team members. Working with a team and one day hopefully leading one, I look to gain the needed experience to propel me into a great future both short and long term. Procurement has really caught my eye and has been a great experience thus far.I look forward to being able to apply my studies paired with my experience with the hopes of providing valuable insight and suggestions to aid in the company\'s growth into the future with new and creative solutions regarding finances, marketing and administration. I love working with teams, leading teams, achieving a common goal, all while having fun along the way!I am extremely passionate in regard to driving business growth in an unstructured and a non-typical way.Some call me an explorer who searches for opportunities before the map is even drawn. I can grasp new things quickly and apply them while suggesting things to still further improve on.Turning Impossible to “I’m possible!” Looking forward to gaining the experience and knowledge needed to further my career and studies for the future.Outside of work I served and was re-elected for the second year on the Board of Directors of Pine Meadows for our 68 individual unit townhome association as the Deputy Treasurer/Secretary. We are committed to doing what is best for the community as their voice. I also am the \"non-traditional\" graduate student representative for Judson University\'s Board of Trustees. This consists of quarterly meetings with the Board of Trustees and executives plus other representatives to discuss the pros & cons and possible ideas for the future while representing all non-traditional graduate students and our best interests at hand. Finally I am was a graduate student mentor to undergraduate students in their studies, life and navigating the everchanging business world.I love building relationships with any and everyone. Relationships are the start to everything else that falls into place once the initial connection is established.
