About Shawn Watson

I am the co-owner/lead writer of Mo Valley Productions, a video production services company in Omaha, Nebraska. After graduating from college I realized that I wanted to be a writer. So I started writing some short stories and poems. Eventually I wrote my first feature length script and fell in love with the medium. So I wrote another script, and another, and another. I wrote two unpublished novels, sixteen feature-length screenplays (three of which have placed in national contests), etc. Eventually I wrote a short film called \"Love Owls\" that delighted audiences at the Omaha Film Festival. That led me to making new friends and became involved with independent film production. I was simply going to be a writer until I met my wife, Amy. She\'s a graduate of the Johnny Carson School of Film and Theater at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. We helped friends with their projects and eventually branched into our own projects. We got married and formed Mo Valley Productions. We have creative endeavors under the name At The Well Films. We\'re creating the \"Walk Along With Him\" series, modern day adaptations of the Gospel stories. I love to write. I become completely immersed and focused. It\'s one of those activities that causes me to lose track of time. When finished writing, I feel energized and accomplished. Alive. Unstoppable. While screenwriting is my favorite form of writing, I also enjoy writing articles, web content, blogs, etc. Also, doing film and/or video production, being on a film set does not feel like work to me. I especially love the pre-production phase of filmmaking. The planning excites me! This is the stuff I love to do. It\'s all about telling the story. What\'s your story? Let us help your story flow.
