I am a trusted partner, advisor, corporate executive, and passionate people-leader with a superior record for designing enduring partnerships, advising on complex issues, gaining consensus, and spearheading meaningful, positive, and sustainable initiatives. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of an adaptable and forward-looking legal function - at both public and private companies. In managing this function, I have been able to get ahead of foreseeable risks as the legal landscape continues to evolve. As a seasoned people leader, I maintain an active commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and public service. As a result of these efforts, I have received the following- the Black Women Lawyers of Los Angeles Corporate Excellence Award- the National Association of Women Lawyers\' Public Service Award- the National Congress of Black Women\'s Shirley Chisholm Award- the National Bar Association Women Lawyer\'s Division Outstanding Inhouse Counsel Award- a nomination for the 2021 and 2022 Los Angeles Times Inspirational Women Awards- a nomination for the 2021 Los Angeles Business Journal\'s Women Leadership Award; and - the Barnard College Student Leadership Award. I recently served as keynote for the 2021 Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association\'s annual gala and as Sidley Austin LLP\'s annual Black history month speaker. I have previously spoken on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues and Legal Operations strategies at the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Lavender Law Bar Association, and the National Bar Association, and I co-chaired the Corporate Counsel Business Journal’s Legal Operations Conference.
