Counsel to the Managing Director, MLB Players, Inc.(“MLBPI”), the for-profit subsidiary of the Major League Baseball Players Association (“MLBPA”), on all business and legal matters. This includes, but is not limited to, licensing partnerships, corporate transactions, equity structuring, media opportunities and new ventures as well as MLBPI’s involvement in international, collective bargaining, and other negotiations with Major League Baseball. Help to manage the business and legal relationship with MLBPI’s joint venture partner, One Team Partners. Additional responsibilities include managing the legal budget, overseeing the distribution of legal work internally and externally, compliance, managing outside counsel, handling enforcement and litigation matters, negotiating business terms, and a variety of other functions. Work collaboratively with the senior management team of the MLBPA.
