ABOUT SHAWN PERRY

In Shawn partnered with Mike Jennings to form the team that grew into the Jennings Perry Schmitt Financial Group. In 2013, they joined Hilliard Lyons. Shawn worked his way through college at Nat\'s Outdoor Sports while earning his degree in financial planning from Western Kentucky University in Shawn is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and is instrumental in the initial stages of the team\'s wealth forecasting plan. His keen balance of big-picture strategy and detailed execution provide strong leadership and service to his clients. In 2016 Shawn completed the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification program. The CPWA® is an advanced credential created specifically for wealth managers that develop strategies for the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth individuals. He is a recipient of several prestigious awards with previous employers, named to publication On Wall Street’s Top 25 Regional Advisors Under 40 and currently serves on the CEO Council with HL. When not working, Shawn spends most of his time with his wife Natalie, and their three children. Shawn is originally from Logan County, KY and moved to Bowling Green just before high school. Shawn is very active in his community and local church and is currently serving on the Courage and Commitment Leadership team with Center For Courageous Kids in Scottsville, KY. Shawn enjoys golfing, reading, hunting, and traveling with family. Shawn and his wife, Natalie, also enjoy spending their extra time mentoring college students.
