Proven drug hunter bridging clinical, pre-clinical, and drug discovery. I bring 27-plus years of experience working in cross-functional teams to shape a portfolio of effective agents to treat diseases across multiple therapeutic areas, using a mixture of internal resources, industrial and academic collaborations, and strategic outsourcing. Extensive experience successfully translating multiple medicinal candidates into clinical development across a diverse set of modalities (small molecules, peptides, siRNA, antibody-drug conjugates, therapeutic antibodies, RNA-based therapies, and gene therapy). Proven track record of building best-in-class multidisciplinary teams and building organizational culture. I have extensive experience interacting with regulatory bodies including, the CBER and CDER divisions of the FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA, and most recently with the Chinese regulatory agency, NMPA. Throughout my career I have worked on hundreds of targets, have been involved in over 30 IND filings, and have been fortunate to help place 4 novel therapies on the market that have positively changed the lives of patients. I embody a patient-first, mindset, that maximizes efficiency to make an impact on the lives of the patients we serve.
