   Shawn has over 36 years of experience in the leisure industry. As Vice President of Retail, Operations and Information Technology at ITPS, Shawn is responsible for the development of all plans and programs relating to pre-opening operations planning including programs for retail, cash control, food & beverage, admissions, safety, budgeting, financial planning, project management, human resources, staffing programs, manual development and employee training.Shawn has also performed pre-opening operations planning and on-site training for projects China, Brazil, Turkey, United States, and Mexico. He has international experience with numerous startup attractions. Shawn has developed numerous feasibility studies for clients world-wide for theme parks, observation towers, waterparks, family entertainment centers, leisure destinations. For existing operations, Shawn developed a computerized audit system for ride operations utilizing iAuditor, an app based auditing program. He has performed business audits for underperforming venues as well as operational audits to increase guest service and operational efficiency.Projects have included: Cincinnati Zoo, Newport Aquarium, Hopi Hari Theme Park, Enchanted Kingdom, Lotte World, Dino Kingdom, SkyRise Miami, Kangaroo Conservation Center. Shawn developed the ITPS Leisure News, and is responsible for the daily compilation and distribution of world-wide industry news to keep clients informed of current trends which he began in 1997.Shawn is instrumental in the design and development of the ITPS web site as well as the and the ITPS Leisure News. Mr. Haas is also the ITPS network administrator and is responsible for the upkeep, modernization, and maintenance of the ITPS computer network.
