About Shawn Graff
Mr. Shawn Graff most recently served as the Regional Director in Region 8 and acting Regional Director in Region 9 for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Additionally, Mr. Graff served as the Deputy Director of the Office of Infrastructure Protection (IP) Sector Outreach and Programs Division responsible for leading the unified public-private sector effort to ensure the critical infrastructure sectors were prepared, more secure, and safer from terrorist attacks, natural disasters, and other incidents. From 2008 to 2012, he served as the Director of the DHS National Infrastructure Coordinating Center where he led the transformation of the Infrastructure Protection incident management plan to align response operations closer to the rest of the federal interagency and more clearly define expectations and responsibilities of response resources. Additionally Mr. Graff served as the Assistant Deputy Director of the Homeland Security Operations Center now known as the National Operations Center during the standup of the Department. Mr. Graff served in the intelligence community within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence working intelligence information sharing within and amongst the federal interagency.While earning his degrees Mr. Graff spent his summers as a federal wildland firefighter throughout the West, Southwest and Alaska. Serving on Hotshot, Heli-rappel, and Engine crews.From 1990 to 2009 Mr. Graff served in the United States Army and Army Reserve as an infantryman and an intelligence officer. Mr. Graff also has experience in the state and local governments, having served as a firefighter, police officer, and director of emergency management. Mr. Graff earned a Master of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2014, a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin in and an Associate in Fire Protection degree from Fox Valley Technical College in 1996.
