ABOUT SHAWN GALE
Shawn has been involved in the construction industry since he was thirteen years old. His first, fondest memory is filling nail holes in oak trim for his grandfather, a builder and Canadian Airborne Regiment veteran from Newfoundland. Shawn\'s built everything and anything from 300-foot superyacht docks to sq.foot traditional timber frames to 40-million-dollar multi-residential condos/apartments. Since 2004, he\'s been in varied leadership positions. He embarked on an educational adventure from 2010 to 2018 with a focus in Criminolgy, Philosophy, and Creative Writing. His books and stories have won awards and garnered rave reviews. He believes the skills learned in academia can be highly transferable to the building industry. He\'s a member of The Writers\' Union of Canada. His leadership motto: Common sense, creative solutions, and teamwork can get the job done!
