The Emulsion Process Improvement Specialist is a management position that will report to the Emulsion Plant Manager. Responsible for providing process and technical expertise on continuous and batch processes and developing practical solutions to process related problems. The working environment is a large team working environment but will need to develop and maintain productive working relationships with production engineers, supervisors, and R&D. Another responsibilities are to go from site to site working with other emulsion plants with in the company to provide the process and technical expertise on continuous and batch processes and developing practical solutions to process related problems. Responsibilities •Solving process issues through data analysis, experimentation, and collaboration. •Troubleshoot DCS and PLC problem and create control narrative for process changes. •Developing/refining scopes on new projects and creating equipment specifications. •Able to establish credibility through application of knowledge or experience. •Assist with creating sequence of operations and conceptual control strategies. •Organized and capable of managing/supporting multiple concurrent projects. •Participate in PHA/HAZOP and other regulatory activities. •Participate in project commissioning activities and provide technical support to ensure project goals are met. •Travel from site to site working with other emulsion plants with in the company. Process Improvement is an practice and should always be followed up with the analysis of tangible areas of improvement. When implemented successfully, the results can be measured in the enhancement of product quality, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, increased productivity, development of the skills of employees, efficiency and increased profit resulting in higher and faster return on investment (ROI).
