ABOUT SHAWN DIKES
At GFT, my mission is to expand client and community success in the realm of transit, focusing on everything from planning, service and operations studies to capital projects for bus and rail systems. I strive to collaboratively improve and expand mobility services that are not only efficient and safe, but also equitable, ensuring sustainability in community funding, access and development. My role encompasses collaborating on all types of transit projects from planning, to maintenance facilities, to stations and terminals as well as vehicle electrification projects. Optimizing transit service and operations and delivering quality and reliable service to our clients and the communities they serve has been part of my three decades years of industry experience. I believe that the transit infrastructure we plan, build and operate works best when people entrusted with planning and delivering it, collaborate with and use their voices and actions to account for the needs of communities and customers who depend on it.
