Master Chief Shawn D. DeWitteMaster Chief Dewitte is a native of St. Charles, IL. He attended public school and graduated from St. Charles High School in 1993. He enlisted in the United States Navy on Aug 13th, 1993 and commenced active duty at Recruit Training Command (RTC) Great Lakes IL. Upon graduation of RTC and the Operations Specialist A school, Master Chief Dewitte reported for duty on board the USS Constellation.Master Chief DeWitte reported for duty at Navy Recruiting Duty Chicago, IL where he excelled at Recruiting. He was Selected into the Career Recruiting Force (CRF) in OCT Master Chief DeWitte graduated from the Career Recruiting Force Academy in October 2001 and excelled at NRD Indianapolis. He achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He was Zone Supervisor of the Year in 2004 and 2005. Master Chief reported to Navy Orientation Recruiting Unit in October 2006 and achieved Master Training Specialist. He developed, taught, and mentored over sailors and civilians. In April 2010 Master Chief transferred to NRD Chicago. In October 2012 Master Chief Dewitte transferred to Navy Recruiting Region East for duties as the Assistant Chief Recruiter. In 2015, Master Chief assumed the duties as Chief Recruiter of Navy Recruiting District Atlanta where they became the #1 District in Region East and #2 in the Nation. In 2018 he became the Chief Recruiter, Senior Enlisted Leader at the Center of Excellence, Navy Orientation Recruiting Unit, for Navy Recruiting Command.
