ABOUT SHAWN DARLING
Shawn Darling has been doing special FX since he was 10 years old and has been doing FX professionally for the last 25 years. He began studying with Foam latex and cable controlled animatronics at the age of 17. By the age of 19 he was working as an fx artist on a feature length film. His work was quickly noticed and he was hired by Dean Jones of Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Other projects Shawn has worked on are Vampires Anonymous (Paramount: Michael Madsen, Steve Buscemi) Shadow Hours ( Brad Dourif, Peter Weller, Balthazar Getty) Wild Grizzly (Disney: Fred Dryer) Music Video for the Vandals, WTBS The Chimp Channel, Story Tellers (Tippy Hedren) and My50 TV\'s The Witching Hour to name a few. Currently instructing digital video production 1 and 2 at nmsu Alamogordo.
