I am a mental health therapist, educator, and social services leader with over a decade of experience working across behavioral health, child welfare, adult protection, and public service systems.Currently, I work as a Mental Health Therapist while completing my supervised clinical hours toward licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Alongside my clinical practice, I serve as an Adjunct Professor in Behavioral Health and Psychology, where I teach, mentor, and prepare future professionals to work ethically, compassionately, and effectively with diverse and vulnerable populations. My professional background includes extensive leadership experience in child welfare and adult protection, as well as statewide workforce development and systems improvement. Previously, I served as a Child and Adult Protection Supervisor and as a Learning and Development Specialist with the State of Colorado, where I co-chaired the Continuous Quality Improvement team and led Lean process improvement initiatives to improve service timeliness and outcomes for children and families.I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and bring a unique blend of clinical insight, operational leadership, and policy-informed practice. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, equity, and accountability, and I am deeply committed to strengthening the systems and professionals that serve our most vulnerable communities. At my core, I believe meaningful change happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether in the therapy room, the classroom, or the boardroom, I lead with empathy, integrity, and a strong belief in what’s possible. If you\'re passionate about behavioral health, systems reform, and building stronger communities, I’d love to connect.
