Lead the plant’s manufacturing and functional operations as well as P&L responsibility while achieving customer satisfaction and critical business objectives toward a $1.3B annual revenue. Provide leadership and direction while developing and implementing a manufacturing strategy that includes continuous improvement and lean/pillar methods. Build an empowered team and oversee 250 employees including 10 managers and empower staff with training opportunities. Reduce recordable injuries from 10 to 2 with a laser focused behavior-based focus effort on the categories of LOTO and sprains/strains. Condense 2019 operating costs over $750k compared to 2018 to identify inefficiencies and solicit improvements. Improve service level from 97.9% to a consistent 99/5% through ABCD analysis, prioritization of category segments and appropriate time phasing. Conduct performance reviews on a bi-annual basis every 6 months to assess team member progress, identify opportunities for improvement and recognize best practices. Identify team members who are worthy of elevated opportunities and initiate a career development plan based on performance; coach and mentor individuals toward advancement openings. Interface with customers regarding product, quality, and service requirements to ensure satisfaction and promote positive relationships. Introduce production planning, safety initiatives, production scheduling, line setup and change out, production control, and production optimization. Establish a culture of accountability through individual and team metrics and communication of expectations. Spearhead site process leadership for succession planning, talent review, and performance management to establish a trajectory for roles and the employees best suited to fill those roles
