In this role, I am responsible for overseeing the national processes, policies and projects which ensure Elysium maintains high quality compliance when it comes to the vetting, onboarding and ongoing compliance of permanent, bank and agency staff.This involves- Overseeing the end-to-end vetting process of new staff joining in line with regulatory and legal requirements and setting company policy based on these- Overseeing ongoing renewal checks, for example RtW & DBS checks- Creating, maintaining and distributing compliance documentation such as polices, processes and project documentation- Overseeing the provision of training where required- Supporting various recruitment projects of Sponsored/Skilled Workers from overseas - Overseeing and managing the sponsorship process for allocating Certificates of Sponsorship for Health Care Workers- Innovation and implementing process improvements where required- Collating MI for the use of improving our vetting experience and compliance processes- Applying my knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements and changes to ensure compliance with these- Auditing our sites nationwide to provide help and support to ensure compliance standards- Auditing our agency supply chain nationwide to provide help and support to ensure compliance standards- Managing direct reports responsible for the sponsoring of Health Care Workers- Working with Industry Bodies to create positive change at an industry level to develop and improve the recruitment and compliance standard in Health and Care- Supporting Procurement Teams with compliance background and detail to ensure contracts and tenders account for compliance needs in an operational means- Supporting Project Groups with compliance background and detail to ensure operational changes, system implementations and policy developments meet compliance needs- Combining an ethical and operational considerations for implementing changes
