   Provide reading intervention services to multilingual students during six-eight week cycles ofinstruction. Administer reading assessments to collect and analyze baseline data to determine students’ needs,needs, groupings, and instructional focus. Create systematic data-driven instructional plans to target students’ needs in the area of reading usingexplicit and research-based multisensory methods. Determine appropriate resources for student groups to address areas of weakness in phonemicawareness, phonological awareness, vocabulary, uency, and comprehension. Implement strategies from reading programs including Heggerty, Fundations, Wilson Reading, andSPIRE. Progress monitor students and adjust groupings and focus of intervention for students as needed. Collaborate with other members of the SRBI team to monitor students’ progress and determinechanges in their tiers of intervention. Participate in Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings to provide recent data and progress tohelp determine eligibility and continued services. Facilitate Multilingual Learners’ ability to access the Common Core aligned literacy curriculum. Create meaningful language-based learning opportunities for MLLs while co-teaching with grade levelcolleagues during the literacy block and while providing pull-out intervention services. Develop instructional plans to further MLLs’ language acquisition using the Connecticut EnglishLanguage Prociency (CELP) standards and the Norwalk Public Schools curriculum maps.
