Major Responsibilities - Responsible for delivery of Key Flagship projects aimed to transform the bank’s core banking product by implementing the Digital Strategy of the Bank- Socialize and ensure adoption of the transformed core banking product across various markets of the bank located in North America, Latin America, MENA and Asia Pacific- Implement AGILE and CI-CD through DEVOPS practices and optimize SPRINT Velocity- Hands on involvement in Requirement Definition, Design, Test Strategy and Implementation to provide Sign Off- Review the Clear Choice / Solution document for technical, functional feasibility, estimates/cost optimization and schedule- Review the functional and technical design for robustness, flexibility, reliability and quality- Setup and ensure implementation of guidelines and process for estimations, reviews, quality control, design, build and testKey Achievements - Initiated journey towards Core Banking legacy modernization by deploying the first set of APIs exposing Core Banking functionality for Mortgage product- Deployed the Core Banking Product (HCB) in Brazil for Savings accounts replacing its legacy Retail Banking System. Resulted in demise of existing legacy applications and enhanced shelf life- Won annual TEAM award for the HSBC Brazil Deployment- Deployed Term Deposits functionality in Hong Kong resulting in demising the exiting 3rd Party product TMD and saving the bank annual recurring licensing costs- Lead the Vendor Rationalization Program for North America Core Banking resulting in savings for the Bank- Negotiated with vendors for increased productivity and faster on boarding to ensure quick ramp up and achive planned delivery dates- Headed delivery for large projects consisting of 300 plus folks spanning across India, Brazil, China and Vancouver
