As Head of Land and Infrastructure at Zenco Group, I lead the planning and development activity that underpins our offshore renewable energy projects. My focus is on securing the land rights, permissions, and stakeholder support needed to connect offshore solar arrays seamlessly to the infrastructure they need to operate.Key responsibilities include:• Driving planning and consents for anaerobic digestion plants, cable routes, ports and associated infrastructure.• Securing land access for grid connections and other critical onshore assets.• Building strong relationships with The Crown Estate, regulators, landowners, and planning authorities.• Overseeing environmental assessments, permitting, and community engagement.• Managing a team of consultants and developing in-house capability across the UK, Europe, and Asia.• Staying ahead of policy and regulatory changes to ensure compliant, commercially viable solutions.I use my knowledge of renewable energy infrastructure with expertise in planning law, land acquisition, and stakeholder engagement — enabling Zenco Group to integrate offshore technology with onshore systems efficiently, sustainably, and at scale.
