ABOUT SHAUN HUTCHINSON

I am a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Marine Engineer and Chartered Manager with extensive experience in Process Safety Leadership, Maintenance & Integrity Management, Major Accident Hazard Management and Business Management.I design and implement class-leading Maintenance and Integrity Management systems that protect assets, people and the environment. My background spans high-hazard and regulated industries, with a strong focus on risk management, gas systems, marine environments and operational safety.Alongside my primary role, I am a qualified Boat Safety Scheme Examiner, carrying out four-yearly certifications for private and hire boats on the inland waterways of the UK. While this work operates at a different scale, the core principles remain the same: integrity management, safe gas systems, regulatory compliance and keeping people safe.I hold a Master’s Degree in Asset Integrity Management (Distinction) from Robert Gordon University, NEBOSH Occupational Safety and NVQ Leadership & Management qualifications. I am a member of IMarEST and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).At every level — from complex industrial systems to individual vessels — my focus is consistent: managing risk, ensuring compliance and protecting lives.
